Way of Shambhala I - Shambhala Training
Shambhala Training presents a path of meditation in secular terms. The weekend programs consist of thorough instruction in meditation, the practice of sitting and walking meditation, personal interviews, group discussions and talks by a senior teacher. Shambhala Training Levels I-V provide a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation practice, and emphasize the development of genuine confidence, humor, and personal dignity within the complexity of daily life. These weekend workshops are recommended for new and experienced meditators, as well as for those looking to enrich their existing spiritual tradition.
Each weekend program has suggested corresponding coursework (Way of Shambhala), meant to provide continuity throughout the Shambhala Training levels, as well as support for your practice.

As a representation of our basic enlightened nature, the Rigden embodies the principle of unconditional bravery. Historically, Rigdens were enlightened rulers - those who could "rule their world" based on an unwavering experience of basic goodness. The "Rigden Weekend" Is a culmination of the Heart of Warriorship and the corresponding WOS courses.
